The NVIDIA B200 192GB is NVIDIA's most powerful GPU in 2026 — the first Blackwell-architecture accelerator to reach cloud availability. With 192 GB HBM3e, 8 TB/s memory bandwidth and 2.5× the H100's FP8 throughput, it sets a new ceiling for frontier model training and FP4/FP8 workloads.
Only 2 clouds currently offer B200 access — Crusoe and Nebius — and even there capacity is limited and largely by invitation. On-demand pricing spans $3.20–$5.00/h. Most major hyperscalers and specialist clouds are still wait-listed as of May 2026.
The B200 is a specialist card for frontier workloads. If you're training at the 100B+ parameter scale, running FP4 inference, or need the absolute highest memory bandwidth available, the B200 is unmatched. For everything else, the H200 offers comparable VRAM (141 GB vs 192 GB) with far better availability.

B200 is worth it for frontier model training at 100B+ parameters, FP4/FP8 precision workloads, and scenarios where you need the absolute highest throughput. H200 is the better practical choice for most teams: 4× more cloud providers, broader availability, and nearly identical VRAM (141 GB vs 192 GB). H200 is ~40% cheaper per hour on average.
The B200 delivers 2.5× H100 throughput on FP8 training, 8 TB/s memory bandwidth (vs H100's 3.35 TB/s), and 192 GB VRAM in a single GPU. It also introduces FP4 precision, which enables running even larger models without quantization quality loss. NVLink 5.0 doubles multi-GPU bandwidth versus H100.
As of May 2026, both Crusoe and Nebius have limited on-demand pools that occasionally open without a formal waitlist application — but capacity is tight during US peak hours. For guaranteed access, contact their sales teams for reserved capacity agreements.
Frontier model pre-training (100B–1T parameter models), high-throughput FP8 inference serving, FP4 quantization-free model deployment, and multi-node jobs where NVLink 5.0's bandwidth advantage compounds across nodes. For fine-tuning sub-70B models or standard inference, the cost premium is hard to justify over H200.
